St. Petersburg College (SPC) is a multi-campus state college located in Pinellas County, Florida. SPC is a four-year public institution with seven learning sites throughout the county and serves more than 57,000 students each year (44,000 credit and 13,000 non-credit). SPC offers 22 baccalaureate degrees, 39 associate degrees, 2 workforce diplomas and 54 workforce certificates. Nearly 72 percent of SPC students attend school part-time. SPC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Key Responsibilities
The Executive Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications was directly accountable for the creation, development and oversight of the College's marketing, advertising, and public relations strategies to ensure the College's community, regional, and national presence. Also responsible for ensuring that the College was in the forefront of internal and external communication strategies and quantifying and communicating outcomes across multiple platforms. Also included serving at the College's main Public Information Officer (PIO) and responsible for all emergency management communications.
Major Accomplishments
Strengthened productivity and provided strategic direction through the reorganization of 40+ employees in marketing, communications, technology, design, print production, recruitment, and pre-admissions advising. 
Conceptualized and established a Pre-Admissions team and developed and implemented a 90-day inquiry to application triggered lifecycle communications process into Salesforce Customer and Relationship Management (CRM) software that increased inquiries by 50% and improved conversion to application by 27% while gaining recognition from community colleges across the nation.
Provided oversight to improve student experience through several new strategic projects such as launching a new college website, student portal, new application, and creating alumni association engagement by streamlining processes, integrating technology, enhancing staff workflow, and ensuring staff professional development.
Executed a plan and delivered support and training to faculty in the creation of a content contributor model that boosted social public relations efforts and generated a 20% lift in organic website traffic. 
Optimized departmental strategic execution and strengthened brand unity through launch of internal digital storefront, Marketplace, where faculty and staff could customize pre-branded templates to send directly to internal print shop, which I also oversaw, for production and budget chargeback. Marketplace obtained 672 users with 17 average daily jobs and 4,353 orders completed within the first two months. 

Designed a milestone system for student progression and success by rewarding behaviors that have been proven to increase student success with social badges and point rewards. The project won the Capstone Project of the year in the first year of Leadership SPC, 2015.
Created the process plan for alumni engagement and communications, which resulted in over 628% more active and aid Alumni Association annual members in just nine months.

Developed term-based enrollment campaigns and drip-marketing strategies for prior student, new student, and current student persistence and retention efforts that leveraged email marketing, text messaging, pop-ups, and personalized URLS and increased open rates from 17% to 25% term over term.
Created lead nurturing campaigns focused on prospect profiling to deliver compelling messages throughout the lifecycle of an inquiry generated a 20% lift in conversion. 
Asked to consult for the marketing team of Oklahoma Health Academy and Platt College to improve their strategies in organic and paid digital marketing and launch their social media.
